I keep my wash clothes in a basket on my vanity.

put a little towel holder either in the tub shower area or by sink to hold wash cloths or towels.

In my small bath I have an old brass soap dish that would clip over the edge of a claw foot bath tub. I roll up wash cloths and fit into this. It sits on top of the toilet next to the sink. I also have a towel rack over the toilet like they have in hotels. My bath towels can be laid flat and piled on the top.
