Snowy Day Table for the Birds

I took advantage of a snow day to have a little tabletop fun and do a little bird watching.
Snow is rare here and usually fleeting, and I still get that giddy feeling you have to wake on a snow day and find out school is cancelled. I couldn’t resist the urge to get out and play in it and set a table for our feathered friends.
Keeping the feeders filled is a full time job, if you feed them they will come.
Winter chickadee plates, bowls and glass filled with seed.
A tiered server is filled with seed and unsalted peanuts for larger birds and squirrels.
Pine cones make an easy winter feeder for birds with a mixture of cornmeal, peanut butter and seed and fun snowy day project for kids.
The guests of honor arrived at the seed buffet.
