Happyfeet on Mar 03, 2015Alot of people I know that have those floors use a vinegar and water mixture. I've also heard of using warm water mixed with a few drops of the blue Dawn dish detergent to cut through grease and grime. Don't know the exact measurements but hope that helped!Helpful Reply

Sharon McKusick on Mar 04, 2015i have not found a cleaner that keeps them shiny. I use vinegar and water with a drop or two of dawn in it. I too would appreciate something that keeps the shine.Helpful Reply

Teca on Mar 06, 20151/4 cup borax, 1/4 cup Fabric softener in 3 gallons of water. A spin mop works best as they tend to get a lot of the wetness out of the mop .Helpful Reply

Lisa Burns on Mar 07, 2015I use a recipe I found online that works for both my laminate floors and countertops. 1 cup water, 1 cup vinegar, 1 cup alcohol, 2-3 drops dish soap (I use Dawn), 5 drops essential oil (optional) 24 oz spray bottle. I have laminate granite-look countertops and this homemade cleaner makes them shine but I would NOT use this on granite countertops as I believe vinegar would harm them. The vinegar disinfects and the alcohol helps speed drying time. I swear by this homemade recipe and I hope it works for you too.Helpful Reply
