Rainbow File Box
by
At Charlotte's House

A group of friends and I do this thing a few times a year where we each go out a-thrifting and find some fun makeover potential for under $10. We then mail these items to each other to see what magic everyone can weave. I received a $2 metal file box with a dated faux wood appearance. It wasn't awful, but... rainbows are always better.
This colorful organizer now lives in my daughter's art center to help her organize the many (many!) bits of artwork-in-progress.
This was what I received in the mail. I mean, it's not awful, but the whole point of the game is to make the thing over so... I did!

Lazuardi Insani on Jan 08, 2016Unfortunately I like the original version more than the improved one. Besides, glue will surely damage the natural color and testure of the box. Anyway, it's nice idea...
