How To Fix a Curling Cow Hide Rug

I've always been a fan of trying new cleaning tips and tricks. In the past I've gone to Pinterest for those since I didn't know Hometalk existed. But now that I'm here and SO excited about it, I thought I'd share with you guys the tips I've tried that worked. I have a few hundred tips and tricks I'd really like to try, but I started with the one below. Purely for safety purposes.
We have a cow hide rug we got a long time ago that I really love. Unfortunately its now about 5 years old and the edges have curled quite a bit. This is natural since it dries over time. However one simple tip helped me to flatten the edges right back out! Click on over to the blog to learn for yourself. I swear you guys, this is like a five minute fix!!
Well five minutes plus some waiting time ;0) If I could even tell you the number of times I've tripped over the edges of this durn rug. Since I decided it was really time to stop flying head first across my room.....:)

Thanks for this tidbit if helpful info. I wonder if it will work with any type of carpet, like my runner, and the rug under the computer chair. I think I will put some plastic on the floor just to be safe though.

@Lori I'm not sure! I know it works well for this because its a skin (yuck)....but it might work on a regular rug with fabric underneath!
