Sherrie on Mar 26, 2015I have went to several sights this is and different directions. But unless it is supper dirty use this one. Dish soap and water. It is pretty simple. Before I responded I followed up with someone that cleans bronze statues. Use a tooth brush to get into areas you can't reach. Then rinse. if you have hard water build up in your area use distilled water, and dry. You don't use oils. Dry. The big kicker is you can also seal this with a paste wax, like Jonsons Paste Wax or a hard paste wax. But it needs to be put on while it is warm from the warm water. Here is one for supper dirty guide lines. But remember it will take off the patina if it is scrubbed to much. http://www.vam.ac.uk/content/articles/c/cleaning-metals-basic-guidelines/Helpful Reply
