(IC: homeowner)
I planted Anemone coronaria De Caen and Anemone blanda Blue in April 2013. They finally have taken off. Wow, can't wait to see the blooms! I'm on a mission to have the best garden in my neighborhood. On my To Do list, I'm planting the following:
Sunflower, Maximilian
Gold Yarrow
All from seeds. I've also planted Alyssum, Bell Flower, Poppy, Johnny Jump Up, Blanket Flowers and Delphiniums It never hurts to try:-)
Enjoyed the project?

Douglas Hunt on Mar 22, 2015You are brave trying to grow delphiniums from seed, Pamela! And congratulations on having standing red cypress (Ipomopsis rubra) on your list. That is a great hummingbird and butterfly plant, but do keep in mind that it is a biennial, meaning it will grow this year but not flower until next year (and then die).
