Dream Kitchen On A Budget!
This project is our favorite (and ongoing)! As you take a look at these photos we want to point your attention to a few special touches. We glass faced several of the cabinet doors (originals were simply plain wood faced). In addition we re-stained and glossed them for that brand new look!
We also installed a jet black back-splash throughout the entire kitchen and under the bar counter. Speaking of the counter, we replaced the tired old sand colored paint with a dynamic glossy black and mat white to increase the overall appeal of the breakfast nook. You will also notice new pearl white paint on the kitchen walls.
Finally, the dressings at the top of the cabinets add a vibrant look to this kitchen.
Now, here's the interesting part, this was all done for far less than a traditional kitchen remodel. For instance, when most homeowners think of remodeling their kitchen, the first thing most contractors tell them is to replace their existing cabinets which could cost thousands of dollars in and of itself. Not to mention replacement of the counter tops and addition of a modern day backsplash. By upgrading their cabinets, we were able to save this homeowner all that cost and expense!
