Have an old book that's out-of-date and destined for the trash pile, like these old Kentucky law book?
Why not give it a makeover? Here's a fun idea to transform a book into a personalized gift or home decor item.
All you need is a book and an outline.
Oh....and you need patience.
It's this project's middle name.
You can see the full tutorial to make this book project over at my blog, Thistlewood Farms.

Sylvia Stallings on Apr 23, 2015@Jen & @pattycake41 Try this site. She has clear instructions and lots of different forms. She recommends starting with the geometric forms but I'm not sure they are the easiest because you have to create your own pattern sheet. Good luck. Let me know how you do. http://www.faitmain-faitcoeur.fr/the-folded-books/diy-butterfly-folded-book/
