I live in a small NYC studio apartment, but I’m fortunate to have a small terrace. Whenever, I host friends in my apartment, we find ourselves out on the terrace for more entertainment space. I wanted to make the space more enjoyable, so I decided to take on a weekend project and update the space. With lots of internet searches, and a small budget; I was able to give the space a light facelift. Next, on the list is to add some storage, textiles, more plants, lighting, and seating.
Before: drab terrace space
After: facelift
Other side of the terrace

I have a outdoor space where I plan to Inclose 5 trash cans. This would be a great idea to use these tiles for the bottom. Will these tiles hold up in the rain and snowy weather? I suppose I would need to treat them with some sort of weather protection. What advice can you give?
