How to keep solar lights in chandelier upright
-
Duv310660 on Mar 31, 2015Many plants like full sun, but very few like to dry out - and little shallow pots do not last long in the mid day sun. Assuming they are clay pots, you can really seal them on the outside against evaporation and use an ammendment to keep the water in your soil. There were those crystals that hydrated for vacationers a few years ago, or compost, florist's foam, etc.. BUT you should probably consider planting something like succulents that do not need a lot of water, because it is going to be dry (there are hanging varieties)... or perhaps moving the chandelier to under your patio umbrella. For your lights, would something like florist's foam help?Helpful Reply
