A gal pal left the Province to take a job out west and left her furniture to me.... Her 6 kids had bumped, hit, scribbled and stood on the pieces for years. But we all know, if it's old, it's revival is definitely doable.
I was so excited to apply the finishes, I overlooked taking before shots! But this photo pretty much depicts what the hutch looked like...
The old handles were removed and newly painted / distressed pulls were placed on the face of the drawers. After several coats of pure white ASCP, I defined the lines on the piece to create a more dimensional feel.
The interior of the drawers were lined with animal print and black tapes to give it a tad of interest.
The piece sold in minutes!
