Fairy Garden

This was a fun project to do, and didn't cost much to make. I took a large clay pot and gently tapped the rim of the pot on the sidewalk. I was hoping it would break in one big piece, and it did!...I was soooooooooo excited!
I wished I would of thought to take "step by step" pictures of this Fairy Garden as I was making it, but it didn't even cross my mind to do so. I starting filling up the areas where I wanted the potting soil. I added the broken pieces of the clay pot where I wanted them to go, then added more potting soil until the broken pieces were secure, and the pot was full. I then added the gate before adding any more moss. When the gate was secure, I moved on to add more moss, succulent plants and the fairy garden furniture.
The Fairy Garden has a home under my favorite tree. I placed the clay pot fairy garden in my miniature birdbath just to get it off of the ground so I could take a better picture. I plan to make a fairy garden out of my miniature birdbath this Spring.
