I'm assuming these are solid doors that you want to cut and add a window or glass to? Not just replacing existing glass? I had a window put in my front entry door you can buy them and they come with the frame and all, mine is a 9 pane window it took less then an hour to install, I'm sure they are sold in all styles and they all include the frame with it. mine was not expensive at all, we cut out a square in my door the size we needed and inserted it and it screwed in place. He also put some caulk around the edge of the frame before inserting it but I'm not sure if you have to do that or not? Either way you can go to lowes and they will cut glass for you or you can buy inserts for your doors as I did. Or there is probably a good DIY version on google or pinterest that may work and be even cheaper? Maybe there is an easy way to install it by just having a piece of glass cut at Lowes and installing it by adding your own trim I'm sure that could be done I'm just not sure how thick the glass would be. I'm not sure if I was much help but Good Luck I look fwd to seeing or hearing how it turns out. :)

I have a back porch door, used to be a sliding glass door, but changed it out for French doors, and they have triple pane glass, so very soundproof, they have a coating on center panes to cut UVA/ UVB rays, and extremely weather proofing!! They were VERY pricey, but we saw a difference in our heating, and cooling costs, and the beauty they added to both the dining room and the back porch make them MORE than worthwhile! Oh, did I mention they have a lifetime guarantee as well??
