The Master Bedroom

When your master bedroom isn't very large, it can be difficult decorating it in a way that makes it feel special, and not just like another bedroom in the house.
It's taken me several years to decorate our master bedroom to the point where I am starting to feel really happy with it :)
I changed out our curtains over the weekend, and raised the rod to the ceiling. I can't believe what a difference this made in the entire feeling of the room! Not only is it brighter now, but the raised rod makes the ceilings seem higher, and the room much more grand. Now it is starting to really feel like a true master.
These burlap "Mr and Mrs" pillows from Ballard Designs are some of the most popular decor in my entire home!
I've still got plans to update this room even more, but it is starting to feel really welcoming and pretty!
For all the details on how I came up with this design, hop on over to my blog, Home on Hidden Oaks!
Thanks!
