Do you always admire water lilies in a pond and wish you could grow them too, if only you had the space for a pond? Me too....there was not a single day that passed by when I caught a glimpse of a water lily that I wouldn't have that thought....that is until I decided to set up a water garden oasis of my own, right on my deck. Yes, all of us who live in homes without a large yard or have access to only a deck or patio can now enjoy the beauty of this wonderful flower.
The set up is super simple and within a month you will be rewarded with pretty flowers. Check out the link below for the tutorial.
Depending on how much sun your space gets you could choose a variety of companion aquatic plants like the Canna, Money wort, Papyrus,and Water Lettuce.
This is my water garden from 2012 and 2013.

Maryannhopefulsurprise2223242334323423434323442342 on May 10, 2015I used a black straight wall container from the pet/horse/farm store... only 19.99 It will hold more containers yet have the same surface size.
