I want to put a design of the US with state outlines included that I can decoupage postage stamps in each state. The table top is painted with chalk paint and waxed.

One way would be to print out a copy of US map outline, here is a link: http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/namerica/usstates/usa50out.htm The next step will require some math, blow the image up at a Kinkos or copy center near you, that has an extra large printer used for architectural prints to the size you need it. Then you can either cut out the print and decoupage to the table or use graphite paper to transfer the image. This is what came to mind, others may have a way thats more simple. Good luck:)

@Whomping Willow I have my graphite paper. Even used a 50% off coupon at Michaels. Now I have to measure and then start drawing the map. It is the next part that scares me...gluing the stamps on each state and then drawing an outline between them. My husband suggested drawing over the original outline with a marker should the graphite smear. Fingers crossed. Between you and my husband I have gotten good advice. Thanks!!
