Adhesive copper flashing on kitchen doors?
I did see copper on the back of a curio cabinet, for which there will be room in the kitchen, so it might be better to stick (a pun!) to that. What think ye?
No pictures available right now, sorry.

D & K on Apr 09, 2015I see copper used regularly on kitchen counter tops, back splashes and some accent areas. The only thing I'd be careful of is the type of adhesive used. You might want to test to make certain the adhesive doesn't let go when it gets warm and you might look into sealing it with some type of clear sealer so it doesn't tarnish unless you're wanting it to tarnish that is.Helpful Reply

Brenda Goodell VanderZanden on Apr 09, 2015I love copper too - couple things to consider. Real copper will patena - plan for that in your colors. Often a little goes a long way, for example a piece behind your stove as the back splash would be great without overwhelming the small space. Add copper hardware to tie it all together. Then when you're "so done with that" it's just a matter of hardware and one area to revamp. The copper can be embossed with a great pattern too.Helpful Reply
