A Shelf With a Belt

A few weeks ago I have built a floating book wall for my modest library. But since I also have a few smaller books which were not practical for the book wall, I immediately continued with the next shelf project and built a new home for my mini-books.

Materials: I used an Ivar shelving board ...
... and a wide suede belt. Of course it is best, if you have two identical belts to hang the shelf. Instead, you can also halve a wide belt and that is what I did.
