My project

Our fort we built last summer. We've still got a few more things we need to do....put the roof on the left side, add a large spiral slide, and also add the built in table and bench underneath the left tower.

Electrical & Lighting: Ceiling Fan Falling

Unfortunately no photo at the moment, as I'm at work. My husband gently tapped our ceiling fan in the bedroom with his elbow and down it flew! Luckily no one was hurt, but now there are ...»
wires sticking out of our fan, the ceiling anchor still intact with possible wires inside. He touched the fan's wires that were completely disconnected from the ceiling and they shocked him! Is it safe to try to fix and how would you advise we go about repairing it? It looks like one of the 4 pieces that anchored the fan to the ceiling came loose. We're not in the best shape for hiring an electrician at the moment...

Home Maintenance & Repairs: Electrical Outlets

In my unfinished basement- I am running electrical wires from Junction Box for outlets. Later my electrician will finish the job. How many electrical outlets can I have per circuit?

So called Electricians are everywhere......

This guy double tapped the main breaker to wire in a subpanel. This left the homeowner in a dangerous condition, as the subpanel had no way to trip. The electrician used that method because the panel was full. What a shortcut......
