My Water Garden, I Always Wanted and Visioned It, I Finally Made It,

I always knew I could never pay 10k to 15k to have a water feature installed in my back yard. One morning I picked up a shovel and started digging. The end result was a 16 x 20 foot beautiful backyard pond that started from a vision of what I wanted. Total cost of this project was $2000.00 for everything.
This area used to be a plain flat grass covered backyard. It was a perfect spot for my pond. The hardest part was digging the hole. The deepest area is 3.5' deep because I wanted fish. I used the dirt from the hole to build up the back cause I wanted the water falls. When I started this, I didn't know anything about building a water feature, It just started with a vision.
Enjoyed the project?

Tikva Morrow on Apr 13, 2015This is incredible!! I'd love to know more about your steps. What did you use to line the hole? How did you install the water fall part? I'm just SO impressed with your work!
