This DIY Art Can Fill a Big Wall on a Small Budget

Learn how I decorated my giant dining room wall on a not-so-giant budget. This DIY color block wall art project was reasonably priced and easy to execute. All of the supplies were available at my local craft store and I was able to assemble the entire thing in one afternoon.
This is the wall before I hung the pictures. (Rather large and rather empty.)
I filled a Pinterest board with inspiration shots before finally settling on this one.
To make something similar, I purchased eight inexpensive frames at the craft store.
Then I bought a bunch of card stock that coordinated with the rest of my decor.
After that all I had to do was layer two pieces of card stock in each frame and, voila!
Instant wall art!
I love the fact that it is so versatile. I can add more pictures, take some out, rearrange the patterns... the possibilities are endless.
And at this price point, I won't feel bad switching the pictures out if I get tired of them.
Have YOU filled a large wall recently? If so I'd love to hear what you did....

@Michelle James Thank you so much! I am really loving it and am even considering adding another row.

I like yours better than the inspiration! I think it is because you used the beige colour in every frame creating a more cohesive look. Great job!
