Watermelon Wreath - Upcycle
by

April is Earth month and the perfect time to think about those upcycle projects! This cute watermelon wreath was made with tin can lids!
Crafting can get expensive - especially if you run a craft blog. So I save all kinds of materials to use in my projects. For this project, I used 14 tin can lids.
Using the edge of my work bench I bent each lid.
The lids were painted using a handful of craft paints. I used a standard styrofoam wreath form and spray painted it light green.
I attached each lid to the wreath form using a hot glue gun.
I added a ribbon for hanging.
Enjoyed the project?
