I have planted a Peony bush in a large plastic pot we live in zone 3 w

It is just the brown stubs now when should I see some growth should I add Epsom salt or is it ok to leave alone?

    I think it may be time to put the peony in the ground. Not sure how long it has been in the pot, so it could be root bound. I would try transplanting in the ground. May miss the blooms this year, but the plant should do just fine in the ground from the beginning. They like full sun. Here is a link to information about peonies. http://www.almanac.com/plant/peonies
