April ferns on Apr 23, 2015I have read that pavers are fine as long as you seal them after their installed it will hold the color and preserve them. Plus if one cracks you can easily replace it. Hope that helps your decision.Helpful Reply

Sherry Fram on Apr 23, 2015Pavers would be your best bet unless you are wanted tile to be put down over concrete then I would ask at your local home improvement store to show you tile that is rated for extreme temp changes. They should be able to help you. If not try googling it for help.Helpful Reply

Millie Allen on Apr 23, 2015I used regular glazed tiles on the sides of my outdoor kitchen. They have been up for several years with no trouble. Not sure what would happen if they were laid flat. I am going to find out when I tile the tops of the "bench" I live in northern Nevada, and we get all seasons here. the tops I used were just replacement cbinet tops. They lasted a few years, but now it's time for a change.Helpful Reply

Patricia Swinford on Apr 27, 2015I think that porcelain tile is the best for out side the Lowes' salesperson was saying as it is porcelain all the way thru. Which is perfectHelpful Reply
