Mason Jar Chalkboard Vases Perfect for Back to School

I love a good mason jar almost as much as I love chalkboard paint, so it's no surprise that I also love them together! To show my boys' teachers how much they are appreciated this school year, I created these adorable chalkboard mason jar vases.

I began by priming the bottom half of the jars, and then added chalkboard paint.
I then added a great, textural ribbon trim.
These mason jar vases are the perfect size to be filled with flowers, markers, pencils, note pads, rolls of washi tape, candy, gift cards... the options are endless.

    Thanks for the inspiration! My sister starts a new teaching job in a few weeks and this will be a fun gift to make to decorate her new classroom. :)
