Nancy Anderson on Apr 27, 2015I went to Home Depot 2 years ago and was introduced to Formica Paint, kind of an epoxy. Patience as it has to dry for a LONG TIME but ugly white became sage green! I did 2 coats as someone had created some "art" with sharpies!!!!!!Helpful Reply

Joanne Costello on Aug 25, 2015Has anyone done the contractors paper stained surfaces with a colored stain like red or green?? Also, does the paper have to be torn or can you just crumble larger pieces slightly? I like the idea and some training but not the patchwork effect. As for covering your counter, don't rule out tile. It's very easy to do and if you use the larger tiles you won't have many grout lines. You can great buys at tile outlets or Habit for Humanity stores. If you get the right type tile they are VERY resilient and really not difficult to keep up.Helpful Reply
