Kelley M on Apr 30, 2015You can put chicken wire over the top of ground or open areas where the animals/birds are digging. It will keep the dog from digging and the turkey from digging as well. Next year plant the tomatoes thru the chicken wire. It's big enough for the plants to grow thru but anything that digs will hate it.Helpful Reply

Comet on Jul 02, 2015Um---you might need more than a gun permit; these are PROTECTED wild birds and if you shoot one (hard to prove a "self defense" claim against a--turkey)---you risk being arrested by FEDERAL law enforcement. Grab some common sense and some lumber and make yourself a SCREEN DOOR---or go to Lowes and buy one.Helpful Reply

Donna Wyman on Jul 02, 2015Turkey are protected? They have turkey season north of where you are, there are flocks of them..and beware they can be vicious, they will chase you, no wonder they were head guests for the first Thankgiving. Cover the open areas with poultry wire and add a screen ddor to your greenhouse.Helpful Reply
