Christine King on May 03, 2015remove the pillow so you can flatten out the material. put your stencil on the fabric and stencil away using fabric paint or there is something you can add to regular paint that keeps it soft either way you know paint isn't coming off of fabric it never does.Helpful Reply

OhSally on Jun 23, 2015I have a Silhouette die cutting machine. Silhouette offers a stencil vinyl with a sticky back that cuts extremely well on the machine and sticks very nicely to the fabric. I would cut the design out on my Silhouette, pull out the antlers from the vinyl leaving the blank space where the antlers were removed intact. I'd stick it to the pillow and be sure the entire pillow front except where I wanted the antlers painted is covered. Then, I'd spray paint the antlers onto the burlap. When it's good and dry and before removing the stencil, I'd shade it a bit with acrylic paint. When that dries, I'd pull off the stencil. If you don't have one, perhaps you have a friend who owns one of these die cutting machines!Helpful Reply

Yogurt Hydro on Jun 23, 2015You can also get a can of spray adhesive if your stencil isn't sticky on the back.:)Helpful Reply
