Love your gallery wall but getting tired of all the prints and photo's? Here's what I did to liven things up on ours!
Target closed all it's stores in Canada recently so while I was mourning this loss I figured I should start putting to use some of the kick knacks I had found on my Target adventures! Have any of you seen these milk jars they had there at one point? They were 2/$3 which is a pretty good price if you ask me! Using pipe clamps, some screws and a weathered barn board I made the milk jars a little more functional then they were sitting packaged in a drawer!
Pre drill the holes in your clamps big enough to accommodate your screw and then fasten them to the board. Make sure to space them evenly apart and far enough from each other that your jars will fit in snug, but not touching one another. Mine are spaced 4" apart. Insert your milk jars and tighten the clamps enough to hold them in place. I used a couple of triangle picture hanging hooks on the back of the board so I could hang it on the wall.
I had some flowers kicking around from another project and divided them up into the jars to infuse some color. How awesome does it look! You could get creative and use whatever you like in the jars, whether it be flowers (fresh or fake), sea glass or anything you choose. It really added to the space and now all those frames on the wall seems a little cheerier thanks to this quick and easy DIY!
Enjoyed the project?

I've been wanting to do this & have the beautiful bottles....but how do you keep the bottles from sliding out of your clamps? I thought maybe small pieces of wood attached under each bottle to the board. Nail them from the backside to provide a "shelf" under each bottle to keep them from sliding down.
