What to do with these?

Have 2 sets of stackable desk trays that are used for paperwork. Have no use of them for desk but don't like to toss or give to thrift store. Anyone have an idea how to use them. They are similar to these shown. I have black and gray ones. 4 each.

If you turn the stackables on their side, could you use it to keep phone books separated and upright in a cupboard?

Do you possibly have frequent journals or always wanted to keep track of important info? Inexpensive composition books work great. Label the slot and the book. One slot could hold your journal with birthday and anniversaries. Another could keep a small calendar of upcoming events/appointments. another could be a quick to grab list of medications in case of emergency or record of health issues you are tracking or daily food journal. Prayer/gratitude/goals journal. Pet records journal. I don't know about you but if I scatter this info or jot things down on small pieces of paper it is soon lost in the clutter.

I use mine with small colored plastic baskets that slide in and out to hold desk items. Two fit well on each shelf. Cigar boxes fit well too.

Glue them together and lay them on there side (open side up) and use as a filing system. You could paint them with spray paint made for plastic. Get some green files for them which should hang right on the edges and add folders to the green file holders. If you wanted to you could just arrange magazines in them.

Sand paper - all mine is in one pile, and it drives me nuts to look through it all to find out I am out of a particular coarseness.

Using mine to organize jewelry supplies organizer boxes. Normally the plastic boxes stack, but when you have too many, it is difficult ro get the bottom one out. Those same boxes can and are used for small parts and hardware, such as screws. Makes for easy access.
