Dianne Ward on May 03, 2015I've cut my mother's fig trees down all the way to about 3 feet high one autumn. They were taller than the garage and we'd have to have a ladder to pick the figs. They immediately put out new growth the following spring and had just a few fruit. The second year they were loaded with fruit.Helpful Reply
