Jewelry Holders From Repurposed Bottles

Besides gardening, one of my other passions is crafting with materials that I repurpose or upcycle in unexpected ways.
I've built a nice collection of pretty bottles that I find behind bars and restaurants headed for the trash! My latest project is a few jewelry holders made from pretty bottles.
My ring holder is nothing more than a twig I found in my garden, some sand, and an old bottle of Tequila! I use it to hang my costume rings, (nothing fancy) and place it in the kitchen where I take off my rings before washing dishes.
My stash of bottles may have spiderwebs on them now, but once I'm done with them, they will be restored to their former beauty, (sans alcohol) and have a new function!
Clean bottle ready to be filled with sand
This project is simple.

After washing my Tequila bottle, I used a funnel to pour sand into it so that it can anchor the branch that will hold the rings. Make sure that your sand is dry or you will find condensation on your bottle that will be hard to dry.

I love this idea! Liquor bottles are always the coolest, my roommate almost pitched a Hendricks gin glass bottle and I saved it! Thanks so much for sharing :)

What are you going to make with the pretty gin bottle? Thanks for your comment.
