I have the micro-mini blinds in my home. I take them down, lay them on a quilt on the floor and get down on hands and knees and with a cloth and ammonia in the warm water, I wipe them well, slat by slat. I know it takes me a couple of days to do this, as I have 13 windows in a 1 story house, and I am getting up in age. But they are good for 6 months to a year. (I wouldn't use bleach as bleach would weaken the cords and they wouldn't last as long.) BTW, I tried to put a couple of the smaller ones in the bathtub once.............The slats stuck together and while separating them some of the paint came off. The reason I fell in love with this house is because it so bright and cheerful. The windows on the north side of my living room are 13 feet high. My daughter doesn't want me up on a ladder anymore (I am 82) and she is afraid I will fall. So now I get one of my grandsons to wash those windows.

Yes, that is how I cleaned all my blinds in my house. I first added a little dawn dish soap and then the bleach. It worked great!

I found some suction cup blind holders that I attach to the wall surround in one of our bathrooms. I take the blinds off the windows and soak them in the tub with Dawn or laundry detergent. After they soak for awhile I pick them up and dunk them a few times to sort of aggitate them. After that I pick them up and attach them to the blind holders and spray them off with the shower sprayer. If they need a little more spot cleaning I just use a rag while they are still in the blind suction cup holders.

Ammonia or vinegar, Bleach sadly will not bleach evenly, But a good scrubbing and either vinegar or amo\moniaq if they are real bad. I also have used Scrubbing Bubbles. Lay in tub or out side and spray, I love this stuff, even great for cleaning textured floors

I hang mine outside on 2 nails, spray front and back with Mean Green, let sit for a few minutes then spray with water hose. Let dry and they are like brand new!

Wish, but I have10-12 windows that show street front & $40-60 when unemployed is valuable. Husband already wks 12hr shifts & I get no benefits due to injury (3yrs out of work, 2 WC cks), God blessed us w/this til completed & unemployment cannot go back to those 7 yrs @ job, so 0.00 is my contribution except for plasma donations. I'll clean myself while still job hunting, thanks for trying to help.

I fill my bathtub about 4 inches, just enough to cover blinds. Add some dish detergent and a few cups bleach. Let them soak for ten minutes. Then sponge over the slats. Bed bath and beyond sells suction cup holders. I hang them to sponge then take the handheld shower head to rinse. Have two nails outside on the house to dry. Come out completely clean and the bleach cleans all the cording. Have had blinds that I have washed 2x a year for 5 years
