I love poring over the Anthropologie website, searching for ideas to translate into DIY projects. I spotted a collection of gorgeous jute-wrapped furniture that got my wheels turning.
With a minimal list of supplies and a LOT of patience, I was able to take a plain-jane desk I had sitting around and turn it into a jute-wrapped masterpiece of my own.
I started with a basic desk that had been sitting around for a while waiting for the perfect makeover and used 3000 feet of jute twine I found on Amazon for $25!

I used a low-temperature glue gun and wrapped the desk entirely in jute!
