Marilyn on May 11, 2015You can purchase umbrella cord and it comes with instructions on how to change out the old cord for the new. It takes a little bit of time, patience, and fiddling, but it is much cheaper than replacing the umbrella. Look for the cord in the garden center.Helpful Reply

Laura on May 11, 2015When you store it at the end of the season, spray the cord with peppermint oil before putting it away. Rodents & many insects & spiders don't like the smell & will stay away. No cord chewing will be done!Helpful Reply
