How can I get rid of those pesky Carpenter Bees?

They are drilling their holes in the eaves of the house. Sawdust will actually fall on you if you are standing under them. I also see them going up under the deck so I don't know what's happening under there. Anyone have success in getting rid of them? Thanks.

Hi Sandy...I live in CT and own a pest control company. The best product to use would be any pesticide in power form. Drione dust works great if you can get in online. You would also need a small applicator. Should be around $10. IMPORTANT: You need to seal the holes. Carpenter bees will use holes from previous years and you will have more and more Carpenter bees. I use cork. It's perfect for Carpenter bee holes. www.thebugstore.net
