Linda Parrish on May 11, 2015I had this problem with my unit last winter, as it turned out it was the inside blower motor that was not working. According to my very highly trusted HVAC guy, the bearings gave out and I needed a new motor. It cost close to 300 dollars to replace the motor with a new one. It could also be yo P-38 relay, but I would suggest you call your favorite HVAC technician and ham him look at your unit.Helpful Reply

Jhunt10 on May 11, 2015Either a capacitor or blower fan. Prolly fan because the capacitor doesn't keep fan from working.Helpful Reply

Lyette on May 11, 2015Fan motor, we just had this problem. It acts like it is working but no cold air coming out of the vents. Usually a 5 yr warranty on motors.Helpful Reply
