Irin Smith on May 12, 2015I have used the beautiful clings in my Arizona house sunlight domes. I also used the paper accordion folded shade - very inexpensive - cut to fit your window - and they different colors and diffused light (even blackout which you probably do not want). Cling material is very expensive (my opinion with my budge). One more thing- use better tape on the ends of the paper accordion shades for hold on top and bottomHelpful Reply

Lucy on May 16, 2015I had that same problem in my upstairs bathrooms. I bought porous replacement fabric for lawn chairs, cut to fit each skylight (extra for rod pockets at each end) and secured them in the skylights with tension rods. The filtered light was just right. Last summer I cut up lace fabric from a decorative shower curtain, and attached scalloped edges to the rod pockets and that is what is hanging, with a hammock-style droop, in my skylights now. Taut gathered sheer fabric would likely work, too.Helpful Reply
