Vintage coffee urn needs to be greased

Dee Beckham on May 12, 2015How about a food base cooking oil. Even the spray kind would work. Don't use the butter kind. As long as you redo it from time to time with a good cleaning between it should work. Possibly canola or sunflower.Helpful Reply

Shirley Jones on May 12, 2015I'd start with a little WD-40 to clean up the parts. Yes it sounds strange, but it will clean and loosen things up! Then apply some oil (NOT grease though).Helpful Reply
