I saved $250 by creating this roped mirror myself! That's a huge savings.
I found the mirror for $5 at the thrift store and wrapped it around the mirror. Finished up with white rope and done! Super easy too!!!

Theirs is $259....mine, just $9!! Huge savings by doing it yourself!
I glued the mirror to a piece of scrap beadboard that I had in the garage.
Then glue the rope around the mirror. Leave the top section unglued so you can wrap with the white.
Finish off with a bit of the white rope around the entire center...and done!
Enjoyed the project?

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
I love it! Super easy and cute! My question is how did you do the top with the white rope? you just used a macrame ring and wrapped it Then glued to the top or the back of the mirror? I’m going in to totally everything beach and shabby chic look! Have a mirror in my bathroom I want to do thinking about it in a colored rope thanks for sharing!!!
I may very well do this-it certainly looks easy enough, even for me! At the top, where you wrapped the white rope, is that not attached, so that you are wrapping the raw ends? Thank you.
