Was anything renovated in the 70s or 80s in a way that anyone would want to keep? I wish the owners of my 1960 house had left the original kitchen in. If so, I wouldn't have to be ripping the entire thing out now. But your new kitchen is beautiful and I love the tiled wall.

70's laminate and paneling or 80's mauve and green - definitely not keepers @Douglas Hunt !

Wood-look paneling looks great if you paint it and put in a chair rail!

Pretty cool kitchen upgrade. It's got a modern design with a vintage touch. It's very hard to find that perfect balance. I also remodeling kitchens in NYC, we usually have full blow modern designs at http://www.kitchenremodeling-nyc.com where we rip out the whole old kitchen
