I have a plank of maple and I want to make it a rolling cutting block.
I have a plank 6" thick by 3.5' X 4' of maple. I want to make a cutting block out of it but don't know what kind of interesting supports and wheels to put on it. Plus how to prep it. Help??

I would sand or plane it down to the bare wood, especially since you will use it for food prep. Many years ago I had a welder friend make a base for a console table from some old (1950's) metal porch railing. It had a heavy wood top so the porch rail was welded to 2" pipe for support. Wish I still had that table but gave it away when my décor tastes changed.
