Shraybronze on May 23, 2015Love the color idea!!! Best with showing all old collection of white ceramics, or old collection of family silver sets, or goodwill silver polished up! Beautiful combo! Throw in a bit of glass, say dollar store wine glasses or crystal for light ! Perfecto! If for everyday-[not display only], then maybe Juju is right-soft colors go with our loved house stuff collections. have fun! SuiteoaksHelpful Reply

Country Design Home on May 23, 2015Hi Tina! That's a great mid-century piece! I think I agree with JuJu, that the indigo might be too dark, especially with glass doors and shelves- it might look like a "black hole". So when you stand back and look at it, you pretty much will see the outline of the white wood and then whatever inside you have displayed. Maybe something just a bit brighter and lighter like a royal blue, but that really depends on what room it will be in and what you are displaying.Helpful Reply

Ernestine on Dec 22, 2015I would strip it down and stain it a lighter stain and poly coat it, that's my opinion, or go with the colors of the décor in dining room or your kitchenHelpful Reply
