Need help refinishing a rusted locker

I have a serious re-finishing question, I found a super old locker in my house's basement that I want to refinish and use for storage, I dragged it out, washed it, then set to work laying layers of "naval jelly" rust dissolver on it- there's a ton of rust. My question is- I need to completely replace the bottom of it, the bottom is rusted out and I will need to replace it or cut if off (I'm assuming). What's the best way to go about putting on a new 'bottom'?This is what it looked like after 3 coats of rust dissolver being applied and hosed off.

There are numerous ways to go about this. Here is one.. 1. you can take a sawzall or jigsaw and carefully remove the old floor. 2. purchase enough 'L' channel to go around the bottom and use small bolts to secure it to the sides, front, and back. 3. measure and cut a piece of 3\4" plywood for the flooring.. 4. paint the panel and install it in the bottom of your cabinet. 5. step back and admire your work.. That is how I restored mine, and painted it red to match the garden shed.. That was four years ago.. still looks great..

@Ruslzplace lol DUH! Forgive me, my brain is tired and it didn't occur to me to do something as obvious as just flipping the L channel - sometimes I need coffee before I post things :p Thank you thank you for your help!

Next time u need to remove RUST....go to auto store and get "Evapo Rust"....depending on the amount of rust, takes ONE time!! Its a watery substance, that I just painted on with a foam brush, 30 min.....ABSOLUTELY no rust, just metal....and NO MESSY gel to worry about!!! Just rinse with water!! As far as the bottom..Ruslzplace has you covered!!
