Hello, soon summer will be here again, and the dragonflies reappear.
Dragonflies are great flyers. That's why I wanted to do something nice on the subject dragonflies.
Dragonflies are great flyers. That's why I wanted to do something nice on the subject dragonflies.
You need ....
A few knives, glass marbles, a wooden board, a hanger, paint, adhesive
And off we go. The knives are sawn.
On the back of the wooden board, the hanger is attached. I suppose as a hanger these parts of cans. So can these upcycled.
Then the wooden board is deleted (if you want). Then marbles and knives are glued to the wooden board.
Enjoyed the project?

Johnsonsnest on May 25, 2015Like the dragon fly, great way to use old knives, but favorite is the pop top pull tab as hanger, gonna get lots of use outta that clever idea!

Jessica Serrano-Gregg on Jul 14, 2016These are probably the prettiest, most artistic way I've even seen a dragonfly re-imagined and I love the simplicity and it shows you can most certainly make something whimsical out of everything and nothing all at the same time. I'm in love with these and I think I'm Going to make wind chimes with mini versions that I have of cutlery! and now I have the "chime" in the "wind"! Lol Can you make a butterfly too? I never ever thought of popping the tops off soda cans for instant hangers! BRILLIANT! Now, show me butterflies!!!! Hehe Great job, very whimsical and I'm going to Try and find some butterknives I can actually cut on my own! Thank you for sharing this!
