I need to make a temporary "bedroom" in the corner of my family room

Terra Gazelle on May 25, 2015I love drop cloths. Place hooks into the ceiling at the three corners. Get a rope and make a drop cloth drape. You do not even need to sew it..the drop cloth has finished edges..just make a pocket with stitch witchery along one edge and place the robe through it. You can even do two panels and have pull backs when you want the area open. You can paint designs on the drop cloth and when you are done with the temp bed room you can use them else where. They are canvas so very hardy on wear.Helpful Reply

Debi53 on May 27, 2015I love the drop cloth idea from Terra Gazelle. Here is a possible variation of that idea. Have you considered a pull out clothesline? Depending on the width of your room, you can mount the retractable line on one wall & the hook receptacle across the room. When you need privacy for guest, simply pull out the line. (Get metal line, not plastic. I installed one in my laundry. They are small & take up no room.) Clip sheets or curtains to the line. You can use clothespins (cheap) or decorative clips. When guests are gone, the line retracts and the sheets/curtains are put away.Helpful Reply
