Closet

by Michelle
I have a spare bedroom that is multipurpose, the house is old 50 plus with a tiny closet this is used for the cat. I have attached a bureau and would love to put a hanging system freestanding on each side the wall space is 77 inches about 5feet in height could go a little higher. Any thoughts what I can use for a fix budget to make it look nice? The bureau is 33 width so I think I could create a nice system without breaking the bank. Thanks!

I was in Walmart and saw that they had the white metal shelving that can be put up in different sizes. You should measure right down to the quarter inch and take all the measurements with you when you shop. No telling what you will come up with. It will depend if you want hanging pieces or just shelving, cause you can also hang off of the open shelving. Let us know what you come up with.

home depot online has a double hang rods with shelving on either side. It's a kit you have to put together but I really liked it. One can go up to (I believe) 84" wide. It's adjustable. The shelves on either side can hold baskets or bins for other clothes or accessories. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Seville-Classics-Expandable-Closet-Organizer-SHE05813BZ/203668370 Then perhaps hang floor to ceiling curtains in front?

Your cat must have quite a wardrobe to have a closet, even a small one, to himself. ;) (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

@OhSally she is a particular cat and likes her privacy away from the dogs:) so I lined the walls with contact paper, put an to easy to clean rug and big litter box. I store all the litter in there as well. The dogs do not get in to the closet. I know she is spoiled:)
