Cathryn S on May 26, 2015You might try putting in a Landscape barrier (edging) like in the photo, or build a small retaining wall in the area.Helpful Reply

Patti Przybylinski on Jun 02, 2015Any canes that are growing outside your bed, but on your property, should be mowed with the lawn mower every week, after a few weeks, they'll stop popping up. But, what concerns me (and you!) is that the canes are coming up in your garden bed. I agree with Cathryn S above that you might try a landscape barrier (buried quite deep) and use clippers to clip the berry canes already in the bed on a regular basis so they go away. Additionally, depending on your communication comfort with your neighbor, since it is one bush, you may ask them to remove it and plant further away on their own property. The plant is encroaching on your property, and you legally have the right to keep cutting it back. Best of luck!Helpful Reply
