Need ideas to block sun from coming under roll out awning over patio.

I have a concrete patio with a roll out awning, when the sun passes over and is low on the west side of the house I can not use patio because the sun shines under the awning. I would like a solution to block the sun.

    could you hang a bamboo roll up shade there with hooks that are easy to remove? like a thin "S" hook or the like? Remove it when you roll it back up?

    I've also seen people use dollar store shower curtains as drapes to filter the sun. You could hang it with shower curtain rings, strings tied to the holes, clothespins or clips.

    i built a three panel room divider for my Mom's patio. It was supported by a wood planter on casters so she could roll it to wherever she needed it as the sun moved.I used some old oil cloth table clothes she had collected between the wood uprights

    We attached 4 louvered door panels to our deck railing. I rescued them from someone's trash, not knowing what to do with them at the time, lol. They've been there about 5 years with an added bonus - they help keep the snow off the deck, too !

    Ive use painters cloth from harbor freight. They are cloth not as heavy as burlap. Thru keep the sun off my back door. Very easy to sew.also very long.
